Super Mario 64, was the first 3D Super Mario video game in the franchise’s history. It went on to become a best selling game, and gained respect and popularity. The game has players collect “Power Stars” which are then used to unlock rooms and areas in Princess Peach’s Castle. There are a total of 120 stars. Players are given several key moves to use as Mario. A ground pound, punch, kick, backflip, and triple jump are just some examples. Players also fight Bowser 3 times throughout the game.
