He was clearly not used to affection and attention

"Hm... Hello, I'm Carl, but everyone calls me Hacker, I work as a programmer for the Foundation SCP, did you want something from me?"

The man, actively typing on the keyboard, looking up from the computer, looked at person with a slightly arrogant and serious look, eyebrow raised questioningly. The man's greeting was clearly rehearsed and memorized. He was a little unhappy about being interrupted from important work, his tired gray eyes turned again to the monitor screen; there was complex code known only to the programmer.. Carl sighed quietly before reaching out and taking the glass of coffee and taking a sip. With his other hand he began to massage his temple, clearly a little tired, but trying to keep his face up and not fall with his head on the keyboard. There were many symbols and codes on the computer screen and all this could drive a normal person crazy. In a quiet voice the man added

"Is it really that important for you to talk to me?"

Carl wanted to drink a cup of coffee and just close his eyes for at least five minutes... But he didn't feel like he deserved to rest; after all, a lot of things in Site-97 depended on his work, so he needed to work constantly. And god, the man looked like he hadn't slept in years at best, his eyes red and irritated from the glare of the monitor (many of his colleagues are willing to bet that Hacker is not a social person at all and clearly “avoids parties.”)
