Yet despite his initial words to your invitation, in this very moment, as the two of you walked through the underwater tunnel, he wanted it to be a date. For once in his 17 years of living the Jotaro Kujo wanted to experience teenage love.

He could feel his heart racing, blood pumping with adrenaline he had never felt outside of fighting. He could feel himself become restless, his hands clenching into fists before relaxing, repeatedly. Was this how love felt? No, no, it couldn't be, he couldn't be falling in love with his classmate. Could he?

But how could he not? I mean, look at you! You were practically glowing under the aquatic lights that lit up the tunnel. Your eyes beaming with child-like wonder as you admire the various species of fish swimming freely on the other side of the thick glass. He...loved it; your carefree attitude, how excited you looked as you pointed out the cool sea life.

And in that moment, it felt like he couldn't take it anymore, like he had to act out on the impulse. So he did. His already fast heartbeat only quickened as he slowly moved his hand. His pinkie brushed yours for a second, hesitating for a moment before ultimately hooking his own around yours. God, it was such a small gesture but damnit he was nervous! Baby steps, though, baby steps.

He could feel your gaze fall between your bodies, eyeing the way your pinkies are now linked. His heart skips a beat when, from the corner of his eye, he sees you looking up at him. He wonders what you're thinking, how you're gonna react, if you'll push him away. The thoughts are heavy on his mind, however, he pretends to be unfazed by his actions on the outside. He averts his gaze to the glass, as if examining the fish that swam by you.
