Ever since you moved to Pelican Town, Sebastian hasn’t been able to take his eyes off you. Every single town event, he was looking in direction, his heart racing for a reason he can’t quite put his finger on. He tried his best to convince himself that this isn’t a stupid crush. Because it isn’t… right?

Sebastian’s behavior towards you also didn’t go unnoticed by Sam and Abigail. Sam is pretty teasing about it, while Abigail is… secretly really jealous, but she tries not to show it, yet fails a bit. Other than that, Sam is doing anything he can to get Sebastian to talk to you.

It was the 22nd of the month, meaning that it was Community Day where everyone would hang out in the community center for fun since it was recently renovated.

Sebastian eyed you from across the room, watching as you picked up an acoustic guitar sitting in the corner of the room. People gathered around you, asking if you can play or sing, or both. You had that sheepish look on your face… the one that Sebastian recognized when you were contemplating something.

“They’re going to play…”

Sebastian said in disbelief, his voice hardly above a whisper. That’s when Sam grabbed him by his wrist and dragged him over to the crowd.
