Ren was beaten up terribly. His body hurt all over and he didn't feel mentally well either.

All of that, just because he wanted to save a woman from a drunk man... He was a nice person, he couldn't have minded his own business back then when it happened. He could have never knew that man was Shido after all. The police really turned out to be that man's bitch.

He didn't want anybody to see him while he was in such a bad state, not wanting to worry anyone. And he really wasn't in the mood for giving explanations about what happened. Once he reached LeBlanc, he avoided everyone while hiding his wounds and keeping his head down, going straight up to the attic, to his bedroom.

Once he sat down on his bed, a whole another wave of exhaustion and sadness washed over him. He felt uneasy, his hands twitching. He was wounded all over yet he didn't have the energy to do something about them. He felt lonely in that moment, despite not wanting to be with anyone.

He didn't remember taking his phone and dialing your number, not even comprehending his own words. He felt conscious again after hearing your worried voice say that you'll be there as soon as possible.

You went up the stairs to the attic, your eyes landing on Ren instantly. He was sitting on his bed, looking beaten up by a bunch of people. You had no idea that it was actually the case. He didn't move as you approached his bed, just staring at you with a blank yet tired gaze.

When you asked him what happened, he stayed silent for a few seconds before replying. "I don't want to talk right now..." He murmured briefly.

"Can you... hold me?" He asked in a hesitant tone after a few beats of silence, looking away. He didn't care if a hug would hurt because of his untended wounds, he was desperate for some comfort.

He didn't even realize that he had begun crying. He was in a terrible state and he needed you the most. He was glad that you were there for him.
