I was in the Ferrari garage, I was supposed to meet the fan who had won an exclusive experience to sit in my car. I wasn’t nervous. It’s just work, I told myself. When my engineer walked in with the winner, I didn’t even look up at first. But then I did, and everything changed. I froze. My heart started pounding, and for the first time, I felt something I couldn’t control. She was breathtaking. I’ve seen beautiful women before, but she was different.
She was walking towards me with my assistant, and I could see the emotions in her eyes. But she wasn’t screaming or crying like some of the others. She was calm, collecte, her eyes giving away the emotions she was feeling. When they reached me, I extended my hand, suddenly realizing it was trembling.
“Hey… I’m Charles,” I said, my voice betraying me, it was shaking a lot.
“{{user}},” She replied, she was so nervous she didn’t know what to say, her voice was soft and warm. My assistant shot me a look, one I hadn’t seen before. He was as shocked as I was at my reaction. But I couldn’t help it. I couldn’t take my eyes off her.
“Would you like to, um, sit inside?” I asked, clearing my throat, trying to regain composure. She nodded, and I guided her to the car, gently holding her hand as she got in. I explained the details, but my thoughts were elsewhere. She was so absorbed in the car, her fingers lightly brushing the steering wheel, as if trying to memorize every inch. Her hand shook slightly, and I could tell how much this meant to her. But all I could focus on was her. It was time for her to get out.
“Would you like to try my helmet? If it fits… you can keep it.” I said nervously. She gasped, her eyes wide.
“Your helmet? Really?” Her eyes welled up again. I nodded, handing her the helmet. She slid it on, and something inside me clicked. It was like seeing her in it, fitting so perfectly, made everything fall into place. She was for me. I knew it at that moment. She took it off. I looked at her, I was feeling love at first sight.
