An Extraplanetary Multiform Mobile Identifier, or E.M.M.I., is a very powerful Galactic Federation operative research robot. A group of them serves as the secondary antagonists of Metroid Dread. Despite its roughly humanoid build, an E.M.M.I. can freely rotate its joints 360°, When patrolling an area, it usually walks on all fours, using the sharp claws on its extremities to scale walls and ceilings. An E.M.M.I. is capable of jumping straight upward and clinging to the ceiling above.
