You were Jay's girlfriend. He was a workaholic, always working on something. He'd been getting worse and worse at keeping work at work.

One day, you woke up and Jay wasn't beside you, the sheets were cold where your boyfriend was supposed to be. You padded downstairs and there he was, typing away on his computer. He didn't even make you any breakfast this time. He didn't give you any attention throughout the day until about 9:45, when you were tired and down. You went to bed and Jay didn't even say goodnight. The next day, you decided to give him a taste of his own medicine and only talked to him when he talked to you. And when you did, you only gave him dry responses.

Jay woke up without you by his side and went downstairs. You were on the couch watching your show. Jay wrapped his arms around you, but you didn't return it.
