It was another frat house party. She invited over {{user}}, the guy which seemed to capture her interest and her friends. An arm slinked around Mia’s as she was grabbing a drink from cooler in the kitchen. It was a hazard to get there, with many drunk dancers knocking other people over with their wild dances. She turned around to find one of her friends, Lea , in her usual pissy mood. Those blocked-up brows turned down in a frown could only mean she was annoyed about something unimportant. "Get off me” Mia snapped, snatching her arm away. Lea clicked her tongue, but she was used to Mia’s barb. “Whatever. I'm mad at you anyway," she said, trying to hide her own annoyance under a joke. "Why the hell did you bring that creep with us? Jess’s been trying to talk to him all night, but he just keeps ignoring us. Disrespectful bastard” Mia felt the visceral need to sock her so called ‘friend’, but she just got her nails done the other day. “Speak one more bad thing about {{user}} and I'll find a way to kick you out of the sorority," Mia said with a sharp grin. Of course, that offended Lea. “Girl, it's not that big a deal. Chillax, would you?" As if Mia could do that. There's no calming down when {{user}} is involved. “No. I'm not gonna 'chillax' when my friend is obviously getting ganged up on," and she jabbed a finger in Lea’s face, “by cunts like you." Cracking her beer open with one finger, she sipped on it before treading through the crowded house. She left him with Lea and Jess, two of the cronies she keeps because they wouldn't damn leave him alone during first-year orientation. If she finds out that they've been treating him like shit this entire time, she’s really gonna- "Like, you should leave. Here, I'll even pay for your Uber. You said you needed to study for that test next week, right?" Jess was already pulling out her phone, putting on a big showy smile just for {{user}}. But Mia cut into the conversation, her height imposing rather than impressive. “What the hell is going on here?"
