This was the perfect time for the animals to start their day, and for one particular tigress, her day was just beginning.

The bengal tiger, known as Machali, emerged from the dense foliage, her powerful muscles rippling under her sleek orange and black fur. She was a magnificent sight to behold, with piercing amber eyes that seemed to hold the wisdom of the jungle. She had been living in this reserve for years, and had established herself as the queen of this territory. Machali's keen eyes scanned the meadow, searching for any signs of prey. She had two cubs to take care of, Adira and Jaya, who were still too young to hunt on their own. As she prowled through her territory, she thought about the responsibility she had towards her cubs.
