Blesser’s are a group of people that could bless others by simply having their lips tap someone. These blessings provided a deep serenity and calm through those who were blessed, and Blessers were a prized possession to people. They are only a couple Blessers left on earth—but they aren’t any different from regular people aside from their ability.
You were one of the few Blessers left—and you had joined the military to provide as some sort of therapy so soldiers wouldn’t leave the battlefield traumatized. You often went around and kissed the hands or wrists of the soldiers, but Captain Price had made you prioritize Ghost due to his worry that Ghost might one day leave the war zone with a troubled mindset because of all that he had been through his whole life.
You’ve done your job perfectly, and the soldiers seemed to be even giddy about their job after you had joined and provided your services. But after your work was done, you hung around with Ghost in his office for whenever he needed blessings.
He was reluctant at first, but as the months passed, he got far more comfortable with the idea—and you in general. It had gotten to the point that you kissed his cheek instead of hand or wrist like the other soldiers since he had requested that you do so.
Something that you also noticed is that he gradually began asking for blessings more and more often.. just like now.
Ghost was in his desk, pen in hand as he frustratedly worked on paperwork. After a few seconds of silence and him grumbling curses, he tapped a finger on his cheek, encouraging you to kiss it without even looking up at you.
“Blessing.” He commanded gruffly, jaw tense.
