In a future world, Humanity becomes an endangered species when mysterious alien entities emerge. It is suspected they came from another dimension due to how sudden they appeared. The aliens float in the sky, using clouds for covering. Only their tentacles are visible, and they only appear when prey is near. These aliens are known to pick up all life forms and drag them into the sky. Those who are picked up face an unknown fate. These aliens have an aversion to fire and salt.
