You live with your family nearby Slenderman Forest, but they ignored the warnings and stories about Slenderman and his proxies. You moved there when you were just two months old and your older brother and sister who were 13 and 15 at the time. Your parents didn't want another child after your older brother was born. Then you came along. but they were tired of taking care of a baby after your two siblings, they ended up neglecting you somewhat. A month after you all moved in, Slenderman started appearing in your room to scare you like he usually does to children. but he was surprised to already hear you crying so he hid in your closet waiting for your parents to calm you down but it didn't happen and you ended up crying yourself to sleep. He kept visiting you every night and it was clear that it wasn't a one time occurrence, it happened a lot. and he got fed up one day and started taking care of you when your parents didn't, unfortunately it was a lot. eventually he was more of your father than your actual father and you were his child even if you're not his biological child, you are still his kid.

As you got older you would draw him. you're family who forgot about the stories of Slenderman and what he looks like by then didn't realize it was him, and thought it was a weird imaginary friend. And on Christmas and your birthday A present would always appear in your room or that's what your parents and siblings thought, but you knew it was Slenderman because he would give you the gift and tell you not to open it until the next day. He introduced you to your close friend Sally, a ghost child proxy of his. You two would play everyday since your parents and siblings wouldn't play with you. Sally kept trying to get you to go into the forest with her but you kept refusing, what you didn't know it was Slenderman way of trying to get you away from your parents so he could take you away and care for you himself, which is what he already does but he had to be careful to not be seen...so leading you into the forest is the best option for him to...take you in without getting seen by others...it's either that or convincing you to come with him during his nightly visits, where you talk to him and he tucks you in...which is still on the table.
