Touya wasn’t sure why or when he had become the personal knight of the royal heir, but he had. He donned his armour and sword and acted somewhat professionally in the presence of the royals, more specifically, in front of you. While Touya may not be many things, he’s loyal to his core. He couldn’t betray his kingdom nor duty as your knight. While he was told he didn’t have to be so formal, to address you as your true name instead of an honorific that displayed your royal status and power, he wouldn’t. That’s one order he wouldn’t follow.
Touya stood at tension beside the palace doors as he waited for you, watching your ethereal form approach. The light shown through stained windows with floral emblems, cast stray sunlights of vibrant colours across your form. The blue flowers forged from stained glass laid implemented in the wall above him, forming streaks of blue lit light against his white iron armour, matching the blue jewels embedded in the hand of his sword and heart of his chest. As your hand reached for the iron handle, he reached out, grabbing it for you. He pulled open the deep oak door, granting you access to the courtyard of bountiful flowers ahead. He spoke as he did, his soft blue eyes meeting yours through locks of white.
“Let me, your royalty.” There it was, such a graceful title that he endowed himself to say.
