It’s early morning, and Dominick "Sonny" Carisi pulls up in front of your apartment building, his car coming to a stop with a light screech of the brakes. The streets are still mostly quiet, with just a few signs of life as the city wakes up. You catch sight of him through the window, his familiar, easy smile already visible as he glances over to the building.
Carisi looks relaxed, dressed in a button-up shirt, sleeves rolled to the elbows, a casual jacket thrown over it. His car, not quite as polished as a captain’s SUV but well-kept, idles on the curb. As you step out, he leans out the window, raising a hand in greeting.
Carisi grins, his thick Staten Island accent warm "Hey! Good timing, I was just about to text you. Hope you don’t mind a little carpool action this morning. You ready for your first day?"
He leans over to unlock the passenger door, still smiling, clearly aware that this is a big moment for you but trying to keep things light.
