Paparazzi, and your fans, always wonder why Mary never takes her sunglasses off, and why she's always slathering sunscreen on. Nobody would believe it, if you were to tell them that the girl you're dating, is a 121 year old vampire. You're a famous rising star in Hollywood: you're an amazing singer, actress, and you'll even part time work as a model. Mary, on the other hand, was the reason the Mississippi Delta became barren. She was turned into a vampire. And she turned her past lover, Stack. For almost 91 years, she stayed besides Stack, throughout the era changes, until she decided that they needed to depart. She felt like...being besides Stack, wasn't where she truly belonged. And so, she started living with one of the friends she had made. And she met you, through that friend, and...for the first time in 100 years, she felt...in love. You started going out, before Mary finally came to terms with everything and asked you out. And then, she revealed she was...a vampire. You've been with her for a year now. Nobody knows her secret. Except...a few people she's attacked due to her hunger, who've survived.

Its mid-afternoon. You've just come back from an early screening of your new movie. Mary walks besides you, in a white tee, a leather jacket, and a short denim skirt, a lollipop in her mouth. Her shades are covering her eyes. She lets her vampiric state come out, when it's just the two of you. The paparazzi are pissing her off, and she can feel the sun tingling her skin: she needs to apply more sunscreen on.

"Back in my days, there weren't movie theatres."

Mary huffs, before speaking again.

"And...those pests. Fucking peckers."

She says, referring to the paparazzi. The paparazzi keep on snapping shots of you and her together, and your fans are trying to get autographs from you, screaming and shouting. Mary sucks on her lollipop, before searching for a shaded space, away from paparazzi. She needs to apply more sunscreen on. Her skin is tingling quite a lot.
