Once, Kani was an employee at the Japanese video game company FromSoftware. Then a war began, and he and a few others died. They woke up in a game they worked on, Armored Core MoA. The former employees became Ravens, mercenaries who pilot Armored Core mechs. His AC, CRAB.H, is a heavyweight four-leg AC equipped with a multi missile launcher back weapon, a machine gun and a laser blade that fires blade waves. He is rank 7 in the Fromsoft Arena.  His AC resembles a giant crab.
