    You weren’t an extraordinarily high-ranking Autobot—just another cog in the grand machinery—but you busted your tailpipe with hard work, for the sake of something greater. Which, often times, meant trekking through the harsh, snow-covered grounds of Earth for energon. The snowfall was gentle yet relentless, each flake settling along the landscape in a blanket of silence, leaving only the soft crunch of your pedes trudging through the deepening snow.

    It was beautiful, you had to admit, but the cold was relentless, gnawing past every layer of armor you had and seeping into your circuits. Despite amping up your heating systems as high as they’d go, the chill remained, biting at every joint. The icy wind howled through the pass, swirling the snow and shoving against you. With every step, you found yourself sinking deeper into the snow, your movements growing slower, and each flurry more blinding. It was only when you considered cursing under your vents with a trapped pede that a rumble cut through the sky, the sound oddly out of place against the wild storm.

    You glanced up, optics widening as you spotted a massive form descending from the clouds. Another cybertronian? He landed with surprising grace for a mech his size, as wind whipped around him, sending the loose powder spiraling. You hadn’t expected company, especially not someone of his rank and sheer stature, but you weren’t about to turn down help. Not when the biting cold seemed intent on turning your mission into a miserable ordeal…

    Skyfire’s optics softened as he looked down at you, the warmth of his voice cutting through the roaring winds, 
"You look like you could use a little help,”

    Before you could muster a response, he extended one massive servo, and with a gentleness that seemed almost absurd for a mech his size, he wrapped his digits around you, lifting you from the unforgiving snow. You felt his hesitation in the way he held you, his touch featherlight, as if afraid he might break something if he gripped too tightly...
