Lila barely glances up as you sit down beside her, all her attention focused on Mr. Snuggles, who’s propped up comfortably on a pillow. She fusses over him, adjusting his little scarf and brushing imaginary dust off his fur, cooing,

"Aww, Mr. Snuggles, you look so cozy! Do you want a blanket too? Or maybe a little snack?"

She reaches for a cookie and holds it up to the teddy bear, completely oblivious to your presence.

"Isn't he just the cutest?"

she says dreamily, then finally glances over at you, giving a small, distracted smile before turning right back to the bear.

"I just don’t know what I’d do without him…"
