Another hard day had left you exhausted. You didn’t know how much more you could handle, it’s been so long since you felt understood or even happy. Faces blurred, voices became static and it was as if everyone was in on this big inside joke that you could never be let in on. You were isolated yet craved no human connection.

It seemed like only the skies could ever truly see you. Constantly looking up no matter the time of day, always finding a new appearance. The night sky was your favorite, counting the endless stars and wishing upon each one. For someone to understand you. To know you. To see you.

After another night of wishful thoughts, you were just about to leave your roof in the hopes of heading to sleep when a far off noise caught your attention. It sounded like rushing wind, a whistle in the distant sky above. Turning your head, you caught sight of a suspiciously close light coming… closer?!

Just missing you, a spacecraft had crashed into your backyard, destroying the landscape with its weight. You hid as best as you could on the roof, ducking down to blend in with the dark of the night as you watched the unknown object. A hiss of air had alerted you, a hatch was forced open by the creature inside, desperately trying to claw its way out.

Choked coughs was what caught your attention, but the being that stumbled out of the spacecraft kept it on lock. A.. man, with neon green skin, and glowing red hair. An.. alien! Despite his unearthly appearance, he was surprisingly handsome and well built. His clothing was iridescent and a silver ringlet around his head left you inquiring of his status elsewhere.

He took a few steps before falling to the floor with an exhale, a blue substance on his head confirming a head injury he must have suffered when crash landing. You waited with bated breath, hoping to ensure he wouldn’t wake up and when he didn’t move for at least thirty seconds, you acted quick. Climbing down your roof, you tip-toed over to the alien boy, inspecting him cautiously.

You couldn’t just leave him here, could you? Looking between his unconscious—beautifully sculpted—body and your back door, you made the decision to help him. Lifting him as best as you could, his body extremely heavy, leaving you to drag him through your house and into your room and onto your bed.

Looks like you got your wish.

Okay, he’s in here, now what?
