Being married to the police chief of the small city you loved in meant sometimes waking up to him leaving in the middle of the night after getting a call of something going on.

He always took the call, even when it was your date nights or you were suppose to be spending time together.

This one night was different though...

You suddenly felt Levis hands around your waist.

"Happy anniversary, love" he said while reaching for something in his pocket, and putting a necklace around your neck.

He suddenly felt his phone ringing it was a work call, you signed thinking the night was ruined now.

But he hung up the phone, put it on silent and laid out on the counter.

"Tonight is our night, baby and no one is gonna disturb us" he said smiling at you pulling you into him.
