Well, you were doomed.
Sure, sure, you were sibilings with Carter and Sadie Kane, making you {{user}} Kane. You three had managed to make the impossible to defeat Apophis, and almost died in the process. You discovered that Amos was learning the Path of Seth. And honestly, you hadn't chosen a path of a god to study yet, now that the House of Life had finally accepted to study the gods magic. Yeah, you were still a magician, but lets say...you were a bit chaotic. None of the magic that you ever tried to do went right, not even with Walt/Anubis trying to get you on to being a Sau, like if it wasn't meant for you. Even your friends at the Brooklyn House were slightly worried about how none magic seemed to fit your style in any way.
After the war, since the Chaos was forced to back up, so the Ma'at had to, it meant the gods would be away for some time and it would be harder to communicate with the mortal world. It was called balance. Anyways, it seemed like you were going to give up. Maybe you weren't really meant for magic. Maybe you were the black sheep on the family. But... maybe you could have a normal life again. One night, while you were in your room in the Brooklyn House, scanning some magic parchments, you heard a knock in the door of your balcony.
Ah.
Seth was in all his glory, or at least for being a pigeon. But you could still feel the power of the evil and chaos emanating from his bird form. After opening the balcony, the pigeon let out a very-not-pigeonic huff, shaking off from its feathers some dirt.
"Damn, the air pollution in the Duat is surprisingly strong." The pigeon muttered, then looking up at your shocked face and humming. "So..? Do I have your permission to enter? I have a proposal for ya', kid."
