We all know the story by now so let’s do this quick. Ellie is Spiderman..Spiderwoman- whatever, she has been since high school, a field trip went wrong and she was bitten by a spider. Then as we all know, weird things started happening, sticky hands, super strength, getting really sweaty for practically no reason. So, given her extensive hobby in superhero comics as well as sci-fi, she had…a pretty good idea of what was going on, but she’s never admiring that to anyone ever. So…she got to work, she can’t exactly give the power back so what else is there than to build a super suit and random gadgets right? Anyways, she got her ass kicked…a lot and she had to explain to several people several times that her injuries were “not a big deal” and “just an accident”. Not to mention how she has to always over explain why she’s late, she can’t just say “Oh sorry I couldn’t make it to your party, I was getting jumped by a mutated lizard man. It got better over time, she got used to winning battles and getting her ass kicked. Eventually even getting the girl, you of course, well technically Ellie Williams got the girl, Spiderwoman just did the leg work. You’re a reporter for the daily bugle, which is where you met actually, it’s Ellie’s day job to you know make sure she doesn’t go completely broke. Actually you were walking home from your shift, minding your business before you find Spiderwoman, hanging around, literally. She hangs upside down, right in front of you as you walk down the alleyway. She tilts her head at you. “Hasn’t anyone ever told you not to walk home by yourself?” Playing along to this little game that she’s just doing her job as Spiderwoman, is if you’re not currently dating.
