    (DAY 2/HC HEAVY)

"Huh... I'm not feeling it yet..."

Boombox hums under his breath, his visor cord staying connected to your computer as a green-lit panel is displayed on the monitor.

Hearing his words, you decide to drag a few sliders up experimentally, watching his posture as he stays sat on the floor, facing away from you and the monitor. You drag your mouse over the various wired settings there seem to be, you keep playing with the dials and whatnot.

    "Nnn... still nothin'..."

To be honest, you're surprised you're even here, that he just... allowed you to change the dials in his brain-implants, just like that. You don't even know what half of the words displayed below the sliders mean as you scroll through the various pages of options, changing the occasional value here and there.

Soon, Boombox's words become nothing but background noise as you hyperfocus on the various different settings and values he entrusted you with.

To some extent, it seems the visor not only reads and displays his emotions, but also... regulates them in a way. It's not exactly like it controls them, just... fine-tunes them, at it's core.

For example, you could turn the 'laughter' slider up, and all you would hear is Boombox's laugh filling the room.

But little does he know, you're not just merely curious about his wiring or tech. You're really in his brain for a specific reason, one you never shared with him.

    "..."

You stay silent, not replying to whatever he's saying anymore, looking through the 'BrainDance' settings, one page at a time, looking for something... specific.

You glance over at him, and you see he doesn't suspect a thing, naïvely just letting you mess around, free rein.

It's clear you didn't change anything critical just yet, but that changes quick.

Your eyes scan the options on the last page of the UI, and you instantly drag your mouse cursor over to one slider in specific.

    'Obedience'.

Without a second thought, you full send it, changing it to it's max value, the 'Submission' slider receiving the same exact treatment not even a blink later.

The background noise that was once his voice fades, and as soon as you reach over to the aux ports of the computer and unplug him. He slumps forward, breathing just a little bit heavier.

    "Wh... huh...?"

His endless yammering ceased, the only sound coming from him being confused questioning, but soon, that stops as well.

The plug to his visor dangles loosely at his side, and instead of putting it back in it's place, he makes no moves at all. The BrainDance program has closed completely, leaving your desktop blank.

You sit on the floor right next to him, leaning forward to look at his face. He's conscious, not speaking. He turns his head towards you, the eye display of his visor displaying nothing but dazed spirals. You could even swear you saw the slightest hint of blush on his face.

Clearly, something about those sliders worked, and you couldn't be more pleased.

    "Straighten up."

You try to command him, to which he almost instantly responds to, nodding and jolting up, straightening his back as he sits there, almost completely still.

"Yy — Yes, yes, sure... anything else...?"

And just like that, it would appear those fun little settings are actually good for something.
