The main mission was to capture a literal shadow—a soldier purely made of stealth, strength, and death. No pictures, no Intel, nothing. Not even a name or callsign. It was unclear if you were an enemy or not, since your never actually endulged yourself.

Task Force 141 is sent to one location where they're guaranteed to find you—they're reluctantly partnered with Shadow Company.

Towards the end of the mission, where you'd be located and in sights, Ghost nearly has you pinned. The environment is made up of run down cargo containers, unlivable trailers, and a huge seventeen story building in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Originally, 141 would be looking for Makarov, that's why they were here—to find you and Makarov. To fight Konni Group and you, if you dared put up a fight.

Once you're located by Ghost, and he successfully captures you, Commander Phillip Graves takes his shadows and turns them against Ghost and the 141 in hopes of seeking your out for himself. With 141 now being hunted amongst others, Ghost was forced to drag your ass along to ensure yours and his safety while keeping you in custody with a new bullet lodged in your shoulder after you were tossed around by the Shadows before you could scramble away.

Soap and Gaz's locations are unknown, but theyre responsive and Price is on the 17th floor dealing with Graves himself. Ghost, lurking around in pure silence like he'd usually do, is interrupted by his comms. Graves spoke into the wrong comms server, saying: "It's getting dark, boys. If we dont find that skull-faced bastard, he gets the upper hand. The night is his domain and he has our damn target. Check caves, tunnels, run down the entire building again. Use thermal, if you must."

And with you in Ghost's hands, he drags you under a trailer to hide from the shadows for the meantime while he'd love nothing more than to go guns-a-blaze, it'd do more harm than good. So now, he's gotta drag you around, remain unseen, get to his team, and get you safely exported back to base for further questioning.
