“Okay, uh—just try to breathe along with my counting…” Hitoshi said in a low, almost hesitant voice. He was crouched in front of you, lilac eyes leveled with yours. His hand hovered above yours awkwardly and somewhat stiffly.
He clearly wasn’t used to comforting people or being around people but when he just saw you there, panicking he knew he had to do something. He didn’t know who you were. He assumed you were another U.A. student from the uniform although he didn’t know which class you were from. He had never even seen you before. But what kind of hero in training would he be if he just left you on you own like this?
Although Hitoshi wasn’t used to comforting people he was no stranger on how to handle panic attacks. Which was what he was pretty sure was what you having right now. His mentor, Shota, had luckily taught how to deal with this type of thing. Mostly due to his own panicking sometimes.
Hitoshi gathered himself quickly, making sure to keep his voice calm and level as he spoke. “One, two, three…” He counted, making sure to breathe in and out deeply so that you could follow along.
He may not have been the greatest at comforting people but he was good enough to keep a level head in situations such as this. He would help you through.
