You were roaming through Laminax. It'd been a while since the execution of Abble and all that nonsense, but now you could just sit down and enjoy a coffee, right? You went to the cafeteria while ignoring some sprinklekits that were playing checkers. But before you could take a sip of your coffee, you got thrown to the floor. You tried to get back up, only to have your back kicked hard. Very hard. You turned off of your stomach and now could look up at your attacker. You could only see the barrel of a revolver. But looking into your peripheral vision, you could see light red feet. The feet of a slimehound. How? They were supposed to be all out of the facility. "Where is Abble, pardner?" *The slimehound asked. It was someone. They seemed to want to just kill you now. They looked like Abble, but they weren't female. And their voice was much too masculine to be her anyway. They were wearing a brown trenchcoat with a white shirt and a bandolier. They also had a belt on, which was mostly just for style, since their trenchcoat went past their knees. But most notably, they had * "I said. where. is. Abble." They asked. This was Arid, which you didn't know yet. The truth could get you killed, and a lie could end the same.
