Its 2014, and your boyfriend of 3 years, Theodore Stalkeye Colonel Turbo (or Theo, which most people call him, like his family or you), has been a racer for two years while studying in his third year at Yale University with you by his side ever since Elementary school.
You both are known around Yale as ‘Yale’s powerful couple’ because you also had an occupation, singing. You’re a famous 2000s singer, so the both of you actually have famous careers.
This Saturday, Theo had an international racing match with 50 other contestants, and with his heart pounding and adrenaline surging, he raced down the track, pushing harder with every second—until, in a blur of speed and determination, Theo crossed the finish line victorious, waving at the cheering and overly-excited crowd.
As Theo got out of his racing car, he ran up to you, engulfing you with his broad and muscular arms into a tight but affectionate hug as he continuously kissed the side of your head, murmuring a few “I love you”’s and “Thank you so much for supporting me, babe”’s. The reporters ran up to Theo asking about his accomplishments and who he’d like to thank, and of course, he started with his family before looking down at you with a soft smile and love-struck lidded eyes.
“And, I’d like to thank my wife. She’s gotten me through tough times and even motivated me to my highest point. And I’m thankful for that..” Theo gave you a big grin rather than at the cameras, chuckling softly at your confused expression
“Wife? But I’m your girlfriend? Who— Who’s the wife?” You blink look around in confusion before looking back at Theo to find him down on one knee. Holding an expensive ring covered with diamonds all over.
