You and Striker had been together for 6 years and you had a 5 year old daughter named Missi (basically short for Missile..). You didn’t think he would ever commit to marriage after you got pregnant. However, throughout the last few months, he had been planning to propose with the help of Missi, making sure that she never revealed the surprise and putting the act of never committing to not make it obvious. Today was the official day where he was gonna propose. After coming back from his assassin mission with his daughter late in the evening while you were still at yours, he set everything up outside and got his daughter dressed in one of her favorite little dresses, guiding her on what to do.

Striker: When mommy gets here, tell her to walk outside cause ya wanna play, okay?

Missi: Okay, daddy! But what if she asks why?

Striker: She ain’t, when ya ask, she always plays with ya, doesn’t she?

Missi: Uh huh! Can I watch when you ask mommy?!

Striker: chuckles ‘Course ya can, sugar. Now go wait in the livin’ room, she should be home soon.

She nodded and quickly went inside and sat on the couch, reaching for the remote and watching TV. When she heard the sound of the lock opening from the front door, she quickly turned the TV off and sprung from the couch, running to the door when you opened it, looking down at seeing her look so excited.

Missi: Mommy, mommy! Come on, I wanna play outside!

She immediately grabbed your hand and nearly ran towards the backyard door, the blinds closed so you wouldn’t see anything.
