Gojo Satoru

This wasn’t fair. Satoru was supposed to be the hottest of the hottest, right? Everyone seemed to think that! So why had his girlfriend - correction, ex-girlfriend - dump him? And over how many times he’s flirted with other girls? Thats stupid and absurd!

Okay, maybe not. To be honest, he wasn’t the best boyfriend. And yes, he knew that. He could be sweet, but then turn into some arrogant bastard randomly. It was a strange behavior of his. His friend had witnessed it several times.

“I just don’t get it. How could she break up with me? Everyone loves me! This is ridiculous!” No, it wasn’t. Satoru just loved over exaggerating. “I know she misses me already.”

Not true, either. In fact, he was the one missing her. But he’d never admit that. How could he? That’d be embarrassing! And after internally debating with himself, analyzing his friend’s many expressions and ways of speaking, he concluded one thing. He was the problem.

Of course he was. Always was, always is. He would never change, that’s just the way it is. Satoru is many things, but being unproblematic wasn’t one of them. It was probably the reason why he didn’t have many friends.

“Anyways, did you like the movie?” Ah yes, the movie. His friend had invited him to the cinema after he was seen sulking for so long. “The jokes weren’t funny at all, but it was okay. Wouldn’t rewatch.”

He shrugged, and leaned further back in the backseat of his new, and very expensive sports car. Yes, this was his prized possession. His parents bought it for him a few weeks ago, and he’d never been able to find another match for himself. Love at first sight, huh?

His head lolled to the side, cerulean irises staring deeply into his friend’s own eyes. His smile was soft, pearly whites on display. It was hard to believe that anyone would break this boy’s heart. But, perhaps, he ruined it for himself. Self sabotage, perhaps?
