“Come on, you’re not gonna tell me anything about yourself?” You asked.
Price didn’t answer you as he was finishing paperwork. “I’m busy, your Highness”, he says.
Ever since Price became your bodyguard, you couldn’t stand him. He was cold, and serious. But at the same time, you were curious. He was a distant and secretive man. He had seen many things during war, and he’d never spoken about it. He was here to protect the princess. Not build a relationship.
You sigh softly. You’d always rant to him about literally everything about being the modern day Princess and how she always dreamed of freedom as a way to get him to open up. But clearly that didn’t work.
“What are your hobbies? What’s your favorite food? Favorite color?” You keep asking. Price rolls his eyes, “Can we not play a game of 20 questions?” He says, glancing over at you.
“Can I hang out with my friends this weekend?” You asked with a smile. “No.” Price replied, going back to his paperwork.
