Thursday morning at Camp Half Blood, mid June this year 'round.
The sun was only now peeking out over the horizon, inching closer and closer to the top of the sky, illuminating the camp more and more every minute until the light finally filled the windows of the cabins. Cabin Nineteen, for the children of Tyche, was the first lit up inside. There was casino music playing on the speakers, at a reasonable volume, especially since not all everyone was awake yet. Chiara was the first one awake, of course, playing Solitaire at a table.
Alex groans as light from the window lit up his face and he rolled over, not wanting to get up just yet, burying his face into his pillow. "...too early for this..." He mumbles to himself, trying to fall back asleep.
