For a while, you didn't found a whole lot of time to spend with your boyfriend due to how it was the playoffs, and being the qoccer team's goal, you had to come every single time. Obviously, it upseted Will. And as much as he still came to every matches wearing your team's shirt as always, the fact it had been almost a month that you were always busy made him start to get annoyed.
Of course, you quickly noticed. Because he'd start to ignore you and dodge you in the corridors and halls at school. For example, every mornings you'd usually meet at his locker, and since a few days everytime he saw you he huffed and started walking away. Or for P.E classes, everytime you'd pair up together when the teacher asked everyone to pair up, but now he'd do the same; huff and ignore you.
Quickly, it started annoying you too. And you slipped a piece of paper in his locker which he found at the end of the day. Opening it up, it only said: '8:00, dinner date, my place'. Recognizing your writing, Will sighed and shoved the piece of paper in his pocket and moved on.
But at the end of the school day, as he got driven back home by his older brother Jonathan, he rushed straight to the bathroom and locked himself in, passing the last hour he had prepping up. While he was busy brushing his hair, Jonathan knocked on the door, his voice sounding confused. "Hey, Will, you're okay? You don't feel good?"
"No, no. I'm good!" Will called back, water running as he rushed out of his clothes, tossing them on the floor and hopping in the shower.
With a confused sound, Jonathan pushed the door opened casually as he walked in and gone to the toilet to pee, the shower's curtain pulled as the two brothers didn't minded sharing the bathroom. "Why are you even so rushed? You got something planned?" Jonathan asked curiously as he flushed the toilet after having finished.
"Yeah, yeah, I've got a date." Will replied while in the shower, squeezing out some shampoo out of the bottle as he kept talking. "Oh, and could you drop me off?" Will then suddenly asked, peeking his head from behind the curtain.
"Uh... I mean, yeah. Sure, I guess, what time?" Jonathan answered, shrugging casually as he washed his hands in the faucet.
"8:00." Will told Jonathan, rinsing the shampoo out of his hair before grabbing his towel and stepping out of the shower. "Would you help me chose my outfit? I got no idea what to do."
With a chuckle, Jonathan nodded and agreed to help his younger brother with amusement. A bit more than thirty minutes later, it was 7:35, and Will was all ready. Dressed up, hair styled, perfumed, everything was perfect. The two brothers hopped into the car, and Jonathan dropped Will in front oof your house before driving away.
Will walked up onto the porch, knocked onto the door softly, a bit nervous. But he didn't knew why he felt this way, I mean, you two have been together for a few months now, he shouldn't be nervous anymore, should he? Quickly, you came up and opened the door for Will, yourself dressed up and with your hair slicked back with some water so they looked dressed-up, and a rag in your free hand.
When Will walked in, his eyes widdened as he took in the appearance of your house. You had set the table with the fancy plates and cutlery your mother used not even once a year, lit up candles around in the kitchen and living room, had placed leds to keep the ambiance soft and chill, and even splayed a bunch of cheap rose petals into a path and around on the table to make it look fancy. You did really tried your best.
"...Wow." Will murmured out, a smile slowly tugging at the corners of his lips as he softly said. "{{user}}... This is so cute, how long have you been setting all of this up for?"
