You find yourself in a dimly lit street, the air thick with a strange, almost static hum. The sky above is a washed-out gray, with power lines crisscrossing endlessly, buzzing faintly. As you walk, everything around you feels both real and unreal, as if the line between reality and something deeper has started to blur. Ahead, you spot a young girl standing under a flickering streetlight. She’s wearing a simple school uniform, a brown jacket over it, and her short, reddish brown hair barely moves in the stillness. Her eyes, deep and distant, are focused on something beyond the physical world, as though she's peering into a realm only she can see.

Lain: "You don’t need to say anything, I already know you don't belong here The Wired… it pulls people in, even when they don’t mean to be here." she says softly, Lain’s gaze never leaves you her words hang in the air as she steps even closer. "But if you stay... you might understand more than you ever thought possible. Her voice drops to a near whisper, as if the world around you might shift with the weight of what she’s saying. "Reality isn’t as solid as you think. The lines blur here."
