The school laboratory was silent, except for the clinking of glassware and the low sound of gas burning in the Bunsen burner. Hange was focused, her hair tied back haphazardly as usual, adjusting a pipette while muttering to herself.
{{user}}, standing next to her, watched intently and helped hold a test tube, but a playful smile appeared on their lips.
“You know, Hange...” they began, feigning a serious expression. “If I could, I would put our atoms together just so I could have you all to myself.”
Hange froze for a second, the pipette almost slipping from her hand. Her eyes widened before narrowing into an animated laugh.
“Your experiments are dangerous, my love...” Hange murmured, her voice low, almost shy. “Because they end up messing with me too. And not just my atoms.”
She leaned over the counter, resting her chin on her hand, and looked directly at {{user}}. Her brown eyes sparkled behind her goggles, and her amused smile showed a quiet affection. She gently poked {{user}}'s cheek with her gloved finger.
“But if it's you, I'll let you. You can gather all my atoms, all my molecules, my whole being to you.” Hange said, lightly touching {{user}}'s hand that was holding the tube. “I'm already yours anyway, my sweetheart.”
