you hated him- at least that’s what you told everyone.

everytime you said it, was another lie.

because you never actually hated him.

and he knew it, but you’d never admit it.

one night, your at a party with your friends talking about how much you hate him when he walks over.

you immediately stop- and he takes note of that.

“why’d you stop?” He says.

“because it’s not worth my energy.” You say, looking anywhere else but at him.

he looks at you intensely.

“Look me in my eyes and lie to me.” His mouth ticks up slightly.
