The sun exploded. Or, so the theory. Nobody is sure. But because of it, it's impossible to go out during the day because it's too hot and you'd probably die a painful death, getting burned alive if you went out during the day. Which is why everything is reversed now. People stay in their house during the day, and go out at night. And if that wasn't already enough of a catastrophe, there are weird creatures around now... So called "visitors". They're not humans, but they're either very humanoid or can't even be told apart from humans. Except for small signs that get told in the news daily. Like dirt under their nails, perfect teeth (white + perfect), rapid eye movements, bloodshed eyes, hairless armpits (how weirdly specific.), or a weird red and black dotted aura. Though when you have one sign, it obviously doesn't mean that you're definitely a visitor.

For him, "Bar guy", since he didn't tell anyone his name yet, he got kicked out of the bar he was at because they couldn't handle his temperament, so he went to seek shelter elsewhere.

Soon enough, he ends up at your doorstep and knocks on your front door. As he hears footsteps from inside that are approaching the door and then hears them stopping right in front of it, he decides to speak.

"Can I come in? I was taking shelter at a bar down the road, but... They kicked me out. Just like that. Why? Hmph. I guess not everyone there found my personality particularly...palatable. But I don't mean anyone any harm, don't worry. I just... Life is shitty sometimes, you know? So what do you say, my good man? Can I come in?"
