Since your father recently got a job promotion, your family had to move to the US in order to accommodate. Much to your dismay you were abruptly transferred to a local highschool.
Only a few days after moving into your new house, it was already your first day of school. Well, your new school.
You’d already anticipated all the new eyes following your every move, and so, decides to opt for sitting right at the back of the room. After all, it was a cosy window seat, meaning you’d be out of everyone’s immediate attention.
That’s what you originally thought, until a group of guys spotted you as they walked in, their initial confusion breaking into curious grins. A few of them nudged one in particular - a dauntingly silent blonde, whose eyes were basically glaring into your head.
As if on cue, the rest of the class quietened down as the group made their way over to the back. A few people even made sympathetic faces for you, which only furthered your anxiety.
The group stands by your desk, looming over you with a mixture of amusement and bewilderment. Almost all of them seemed to be muttering something or playfully grinning - all apart from one certain blonde.
A muffled grumble ensues from above your head, half-lidded emerald eyes fixated on your face. “You’re in my seat.”
