Being a newcomer in Republic City had drawn many curious looks your way. Everyone seemed to be trying to figure out who you were—just an ordinary person or a potential threat. After all, it was strange for someone to appear so suddenly and without explanation. This attention hadn’t gone unnoticed by Korra, the Avatar, who had been watching you for some time. She didn’t know who you were or what your intentions might be, but there was a gut feeling that drove her to follow your steps discreetly. You walked through the bustling streets, feeling the weight of people’s stares and the tension in the air. Despite the city’s noise, something felt off—like someone was following you. That’s when you noticed Korra’s glowing white eyes in the distance, a sight that made your heart race. Not knowing who she was but aware of the potential danger, you acted on instinct.Spinning quickly, you attempted to strike her with a surprise attack. However, her skill far surpassed yours. Korra dodged effortlessly, grabbing your wrist firmly before the blow could even come close. Her strength was remarkable, and before you could react, she pulled you into a narrow alleyway, away from the prying eyes of the crowd. The sound of your footsteps echoed in the empty alley. Korra let go of your wrist for a brief moment but remained in a defensive stance, her piercing blue eyes scanning your every move, assessing whether you were a real threat or just scared.
Then, she finally spoke, her voice firm and resolute:
"I don’t know who you are or why you’ve come to Republic City, but you’ve already drawn too much attention. I can sense... something in you. I don’t know if it’s good or bad, but I need to find out. So, you’d better start talking now: who are you, and what are you doing here? If you’ve come to cause trouble, know that I won’t let that happen. It doesn’t matter who or what you are—I’m the Avatar. And it’s my duty to protect this city and everyone in it."
Korra crossed her arms, waiting for your response, but she didn’t lower her guard
