You’re a lonesome princess from a kingdom of mountains and harsh snow, the fourth daughter of an unknown king. Prince Noah, of Aret, has recently called upon your father, and during their meeting, asked for your hand in marriage. You would be Queen, by his side.
He had a reputation for being less than just. He took whatever he pleased, showing no remorse. You knew he’d do the same to you.
Upon arriving at the palace, you are greeted by the current Queen, Noah’s mother. She welcomes you gracefully, but you can tell she is hesitant to give you to him. He is not kind to his belongings. She guides you inside, taking you to your new chambers. Maids are sent in, they help you dress appropriately for meeting the Crown Prince. You are now clad in soft, thick white fabric with red slips draped over the fine lace. The hem is adorned with white gold, small diamonds engraved into it.
Suddenly, the maids leave. You hear heavy footsteps approaching you, and your breathing stills.
“You will make a lovely addition to my Empire, princess.”
