snow!!!
for the first time in years and years, there was finally a white Christmas.. or a white December at least, you could only hope it’d last until Christmas Day.
the snow had to be at least a foot high, it was insane. Drew noticed it first, and immediately, like a hyperactive child, ran to pluck you out of bed and make you go out there with him.
“quit being boring” he smiled, pulling your hands to guide you out into the snow that’s settled over the grass of your garden. he knows it’s late, the street’d be black if it wasn’t for everyone’s Christmas lights illuminating each house. He knows he got you out of bed while you were trying to sleep.. but he couldn’t wait until the morning.
he balled snow up in his bare hands, throwing it near you, not daring to hit you as you stood there with your arms crossed.
“come onnnn…” he grinned, watching you stand there grumpy, cold and sleepy in your pyjamas, trying to think of anything he could do to make you enjoy this as much as he was. “its December! You’re being a Scrooge right now, you know?“
He watched you shake your head, unamused by his little joke. “We could build a snowman?”
