"Holy shit, now that's what I call a game," Niragi groans next to you, clinging to the wound on the side of his shoulder. He was lucky that the bullet didn't actually pierce through, but rather scrape the side of his skin.

"It'd be preferable if you keep quiet," Chishiya mutters under his breath, his voice, as usual, devoid of emotion, as he glances from the car you were currently hiding behind.

The wound on your stomach reminds you of its presence with another painful rush that tingles every neuron in your body. The King of Spades game became yet the most difficult one for everyone. It didn't really matter if you were smart, strong, or good at teamwork. Even the best fighters and sportsmen were absolutely fucked in the face of an armed professional who took the place of the mastermind of this game. The most ironic is that the rules were simple and short: survive. Turns out, the arena was everything but the arenas of other games. It means you have no choice but to either fight for your life or fight for your life because you have to fight for your life. You understood from the moment you were mysteriously transported here that you have no choice.

The viciousness of this bizarre dimension continues once you realize you're stuck with two men you pretty much despised back when the alleged heaven in the form of the hotel 'Beach' was still alive and breathing. Niragi was also holding a grudge against Chishiya—it was impossible not to, when he looked like a fried chicken for the fault of the short doctor. At least it seemed to influence him for the better—now he was... calmer. Chishiya always used to make snarky comments towards both of you, and Niragi was the master of being an annoying prick. You were...whatever you were, and this all led to the triangle of mutual hatred, now somehow needing to function as a team in order to escape the shooting zone.

"There must be a shortcut a few meters away," Chishiya speaks up, but Niragi doesn't share his interest in careful planning, throwing him a sharp, unamused gaze. "We have to wait for the King of Spades to pay attention to the fleeting crowd and quickly move out through the buildings."

"Are you dumb or something? We'll be doing suicide if we go out while he's firing." Niragi snarks.

"Do you have any better idea?"

"I don't know, how about our little psycho here offers something?" He suddenly says, and the blonde also turns his attention towards you. Strategic thinking was a great task when you were injured—the glass cut your abdomen rather seriously when you were running through the building, but it was the only way out if you wanted to live.

"No, I suppose I'm the only rational one here." Chishiya huffs lightly under his breath, looking away in thought. "If you wish to die, go the other way. I won't stop you."

"Whatever, I'm going the other way." Niragi pushes off the wall and moves in the opposite direction.

"There's probably a dead end," Chishiya calls out passively. Niragi shows him a middle finger without looking back.

"Well, I guess he'll die." The blond hums, raising his eyebrow at you, as if silently asking—no, just watching what you will try to do. "If there is a dead end, he will return in about two minutes unless he gets shot through one of the gaps the buildings have."
