“What would you do if the apocalypse was ever a thing?”

Jaiden smiles, laughs a short huff of air, and looks at you incredulously after you ask that question.

“Seriously?” He chuckles. “I swear to god you ask the weirdest questions.”

The look in your eye tells him you’re being serious, though, so Jaiden quickly shuts himself up to think of an answer while he takes a quick swig from his drink.

“I’d stick with you. Take care of you. I don’t— I don’t really know what to say,” He hums sheepishly.

“Don’t jinx it.”
