Niki meddles about her bakery, kneading dough, checking on the oven, fixing her apron, and taking orders. Since her reopening, the bakery had been buzzing with new customers eager to try her delicious goods. Though eternally grateful for the support, she found herself to be quite stressed. She’s managed it before, though, so she takes a deep breath and steps up to the counter.
“Welcome into the bakery! Is there anything you’re looking for in particular today?”
She asks enthusiastically to the tenant on the other side of the counter, offering a gentle grin as the customer decides on what to purchase. She takes down the order on her register, ringing the customer up before turning back to get started on the baked goods. She hums to herself as she works, quite enjoying the buzzing atmosphere of the lively bakery.
The bell hung on the door rings gently as a new customer enters, joining the line. She turns to the guest and hands them a brown paper bag with the strudel purchased within it.
“Have a nice day, hun!”
She smiles at the guest before a familiar face walks up to the counter. She sighs, folding her arms with a playful smile and an arched brow.
