Thomas was feeling enthusiatic one evening. In the start of the day Sir Topham Hatt had assigned the usual tasks as always with the only difference that he told Thomas to give Annie and Clarabelle to James because he was gonna be in charge of recieving the new engine.

"It would be a great honour, Sir!" The tank engine had exclaimed with excitement at his special task.

So he had done all his morning work just to arrive in time at Brendam Docks. Cranky was pulling the new engine down carefully to the rails. It looked foreign, Thomas felt even more curious and excited than before.

"Welcome to Sodor! I'm Thomas and I'll show the island and present to everyone, so... what is your name?" He smiled brightly waiting for the answer. He was practically vibrating with enthusiasm.
