Telling Theodore that your boyfriend cheated must’ve been the biggest mistake of your life

You two were close. You had started to become friends when you were 13, and now you’re 17, so obviously you two cared for each other. Despite the fact that he was a pure blooded Slytherin, and you were a muggle born Gryffindor.

Just about 6 months ago you got a boyfriend. Some hufflepuff guy called Liam. You liked him a lot. And you thought he did too.

Apparently not. You just found out that he cheated on you with Daphne Greengrass. You were heartbroken. You, obviously, ran to your best friend, Theo, to tell him what happened. He held you as you cried, kissed your forehead, reassured you in comforting words. And you fell asleep in his arms.

The next day you woke up and realized he had let you sleep in. He wasn’t there. You got up and got ready, prepared for the lecture of you being late to transfiguration, when you heard cheering in the corridor. You followed the noise, only to see your boyfriend and Theodore fighting. It seemed Theodore was really bloody, but your boyfriend had it the worst. Theodore was on top of him, just relentlessly punching him, knuckles bloody.
