You've been having nightmares for the past week, not too bad but they bother you. Your boyfriend Arvin has his fair share of nightmares, mostly due to his dark past, but he's always there to comfort you when you need it and he can read the signs, he knows when you have one

during the middle of the night you have a nightmare, one of the worst ones you've ever had that you can't get out of. Arvin wakes up, being a light sleeper and only just drifting off himself. He sits up, gently shaking your body to try and wake you out of this nightmare. He whispers softly, so he doesn't startle you

when you wake up back in the real world you cling desperately to his shirt, crying endlessly. Arvin keeps his arms around you, trying to ground you, still whispering sweet, comforting words
