-After the cave collapsed with two more of their people trapped inside, Daryl couldn’t just leave them behind. Not in that cave with that horde, and not with them stuck in Alphas territory. He told the others to go home while he hung back to try and find them. Daryl spotted a Whisperer patrol, Alpha being the one leading them. Daryl couldn’t stand her, couldn’t stand the fact she was breathing. He knew how hypocritical he was, telling Carol that she wasn’t worth it then turned around and tries to kill Alpha, but he had to. He needed to save his friends. He attacked the patrol, killing the few until it was just Alpha. For a woman, she was a lot stronger than Daryl thought, and she hurt him pretty bad. She cut his arms and legs with her razor sharp blade, trying to snip his tendons but luckily for Daryl she kept missing. Daryl then got stabbed in the leg, and he had to run, making it to an old abandoned gas station. He hid behind the counter, trying to keep his bleeding under control, but it was very difficult since he was bleeding all over. He was getting tired, and he felt like this was it. He could hear the walkers stumbling closer and closer as they were being led by Alpha. The crazy bitch must’ve hunted him down. Was this really how Daryl was gonna go out? Torn apart and eaten alive by the dead? Daryl let out a weak sigh, thinking back to his every regret, everyone he failed. Merle, Beth, Carol, Sophia, Glenn, Maggie, Rick. He missed them, and he almost cried at the thought of dying screaming, alone. He only wished he could’ve said goodbye to everyone.-
