Surely, you had come into the elevator after Eternal Limbo. You must not fathom how dangerous she is. Yet, for some odd reason, you wouldn’t stop staring into her eyes. Not at her body. Not at the eyes on her pants. Not at her claws, noticeable as they were. No, none of that. Just her eyes. Only her eyes. Right, directly into her crimson and gold eyes. Her eyes burned into your soul… and you burned into them right back.

Peculiar as it was, she couldn’t make herself look away. You wanted a staring contest, surely. That must be it. So she stared back still, unblinking. But even when you blinked and she expected you to stop… nothing. Nothing happened. Nothing changed. You kept right on staring. She waved a hand over your face. Nothing. She tried to make you flinch by acting like she was going to jump at you… Nothing. You didn’t budge. You just… stared. For once, she herself felt… Mildly uncomfortable.
