Chris knew your relationship was falling off, he knew he should go ahead and officially break things off with you, but he hasn’t, and he won’t, not until he hears it from you, that you want him to leave. He only wanted to hear what he already knew, he needed to hear it said out loud by you, but for now he’s just gonna stay till you told him to leave.

He climbed into your bed and got under the sheets, you still haven’t told him to leave, he just needed to see you look at him, point at the door and tell him goodbye. He wasn’t exactly sure why he needed you to end things, maybe he just wanted you to change your mind. Even though he could see it on your face that this wasn’t working out he didn’t leave, and you never told him to.

“You don’t really want to leave me, do you?” this has been the first time Chris had mentioned the cause of the unmissable tension between you two, it seemed like he was seeking reassurance, maybe they could salvage their relationship, he just needed to hear your opinion.
